December
Newsletter
Welcome to the December edition of the PM Illustrated newsletter, with all the latest news and developments from PMillustrated.com. The goal is to provide valuable insights into the PMP exam and your study process to get you to your PMP faster.

First, an apology for missing a couple of newsletters and release dates for new features. I have been in and out of hospital with heart problems and unable to work on the site. I had a double ablation procedure in November to address atrial flutter and arrhythmia issues. This has helped; I no longer get blackouts and can drive again, which is good.
However, I need bypass surgery and a valve replacement early next year. So, I am not out of the woods yet. Since PMillustrated is a side project for me, my work on it paused as I juggled appointments, recovery, and my real job.
Yet, I was able to make some small site updates.
Most people opt for a 3-month membership of PMillustrated, and then many extend before taking their exam. Previously, the only longer membership was annual, which is ideal for PMP instructors using PMillustrated alongside their own training, but longer than most people need for self-study.
A 6-month option for $50 is more cost-effective for people than extending a 3-month subscription. It is ideal for anyone wanting to study at a more relaxed pace and also aligns with the 6-month subscription for the PMillustrated audio/video book.
Anyone with an Annual membership who wants to keep that going, do not fear. All memberships renew at your original sign-up price until you cancel. So you will never lose the offer you signed up for, and your prices will never increase.

Website Improvements
1) Navigation Improvements – A minor change, but I added clearer instructions for the navigation grid on the main page. “Hover over tiles to Preview a topic, Click to Read” as some people were unsure how to access the main content.
2) Share content option – Added a Share page via Email link to all content pages to make sharing easier. If you enjoy any of the content on the site, please share it with friends and colleagues – using the Share buttons that maintain correct attribution and links.
3) Animated Carousel – really just for aesthetics, but I replaced the static image carousel with one featuring the new tile animations.
Now, I am back to working on the site again. I will continue adding site functionality.
